Meet Mbwana Abudallah, our Malawi program director. Mbwana is a dedicated and passionate humanitarian leader committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of children in Lilongwe, Malawi. As a vital member of Busisa Foundation, Mbwana brings over 15 years of experience in humanitarian work, community development, and advocacy to his role, driving impactful initiatives that foster positive change.
As a graduate of our education sponsorship program, Mbwana holds a degree in auto engineering from the University of Lilongwe. His commitment to Busisa has cultivated a deep understanding of social issues and developed the skills necessary for effective community engagement.
At Busisa Foundation, Mbwana is instrumental in overseeing campaigns and initiatives in Malawi. These included developing and implementing humanitarian programs, coordinating volunteer efforts and overseeing the educational sponsorship program. His work is essential to the organization’s mission of empowering underserved communities through comprehensive support, fostering resilience and inspiring sustainable change. He is known for his visionary leadership and heartfelt dedication.
